Lately, Leona Lewis has been getting awesome jobs!

Before she had her number 1 hit “Bleeding Love”, released her 2nd album, recorded an amazing song for Avatar, and now gets the honor of having the theme song for Final Fantasy XIII (On PS3)!!!!  Digital Spy has the trailer for your viewing pleasure!

The Final Fantasy franchise without a doubt is FAN-EFFIN’-TASTIC.  Like EVERYTHING about it is just total win! I’ve played the entire series more than once and their theme songs are so indescribable.  The game alone is amazing. Now, in addition, to Leona Lewis, she is definently worthy of being placed in there with a whole slew of hits. *Her song is titled My Hands, from her album Echo*

I can’t even being to say how happy I am because of this!  So without much delay I shall ring up some recommendations of Final Fantasy’s “Greatest Hits” of songs.

-Eyes On Me by Faye Wong- The theme for Final Fantasy VIII. My absolute favorite game/song from the series.  It is beautiful, in its lyrics and musically.

-Melodies of Life byEmiko Shiratori- Theme for Final Fantasy IX

-Suteki da ne by RIKKI- Theme from Final Fantasy X

Mind you those are just lyrical songs.  The rest, which are mostly composed, are WORTH listening to.  Just breathtaking and full of WIN!

J. Love Decorates her Vajayjay

While everyone was watching American Idol, I watched Jennifer Love Hewitt (Jennifer Love Fefferman to the Boy Meets World crowd) was on Lopez Tonight.  & from the interview G-Lo had with her, we found out TMI shizz.  Relish in it!

Firstly, J.Love has written a book called “The Day I Shot Cupid”.  The full title is WAY long so here is the link to the real title.   In short J.Love has been involved with a lot of men and decided to write about her experiences and advice for women.   But that is not the major thing.  She explained one thing in particular, from her contribution to literature.

During her interview there is a particular chapter got her through a “tough time”.   Said chapter is about Vajazzaling.  Vajazzaling =women bedazzling their vajayjays. “It looks like a little disco ball down there” says Jennifer.  One would think it would be distracting but she even said “I ‘ve had no complaints”.

What better way to feel better about yourself than to decorate your special area than to decorate it.  J.Love is on to something.  I mean who wouldn’t deny something shiny?  It’s pretty to look at and ultra colorful and makes it all the more entertaining.  It is ingenious! If you are looking out for bedazzler materials and the store dosesn’t have it….lets turn to J.Love for a hook up.  Supply & Demand!

Future Ms. 2010 Reports The Weather!

Everyone’s favorite chica, from the Jersey Shore (On the MTV), Snookie, is a woman of many talents.  She can kind of hold her drinks, sashays with class and knows how to apply her orange y tan like no other.

& now she is tackling the weather. Be taken aback on how she reports the weather as she squints at the prompter.  Classic!

But this amazing lady just crushed my fantasy!  She made a BIG reveal at the end of the video that she DOES NOT WEAR BUMPITS!  The rumor is now in the bed.  PIX news talking about the real issues in the morning.

Fierce Friday by Penelope Cruz

Fierce Friday- Celebrity who is MAYJAH sexy,talented,incredible and worth mentioning. But sometimes this kind of post might be taken over by someone who is a little less on the radar, so to speak.  But not TODAY!

For the very first Fierce Friday….the person who has the honor is none other than Penelope Cruz!!!  A little bit of reading then a cool video!

Why? Well she has recently won my heart for her fantastic work on the big screen. And to be honest I wasn’t a fan of hers at first.  I laughed when she used to do commercials for L’Oreal.  Her accent was so thick that another woman talked in her place, leaving Penelope with one line to say.  True STORY!

Anyways, Penelope Cruz is one of my favorite TOP actresses of the moment. She did win an Oscar for “Vicky Cristina Barcelona”!  This beautiful woman has such a unique look,immensely talented, is friends with Salma Hayek and drop dead SEXY!

I HAVE to check out “Nine” and “Broken Embraces” (Los Abrazos Rotos).  Shoo I might just go out & get all of her movies by the end of the year…..and now I have a New Years Resolution. YAY ME!

Anways, the latest pop/electro/whatever star to take over the radio is Ke$ha.  Her song and album are doing well digitally and yet in the stores is a different story.  Ke$ha is on a mission, herself, to spread word on her product.  Meanwhile, Slap-Chop guy is out there looking into bikini’s….Check out her selling!

We should have gotten more camera time with that beautiful woman in blue with the tats on her arm.  Now she knows how to live! You can’t miss her, & we’ll never know what she got. Note how Ke$ha only went to guys to buy her album. HATER! But the guy are like “Uhh….”. Exactly…

But seriously she’s cute and carefree in the vid.  That makes me like her a little; I just don’t like “Tik Tok”.  She sounds so tipsy in it. And I don’t like to hang with tipsy ness.  If I wanted that I’d go to a campus party where a bunch of losers are guzzling down drinks and swearing that that they could out dance Beyonce or Britney….just no…

Karate Kid Trailer

The real Mr. Miyagi would NOT approve of this mess happening. Even though I do love Jackie Chan, I just grasp this happening. This thing even has a trailer!

What made the original Karate Kid awesome was that it dealt with teens, learning to wax on & wax off the drama. But with the new flick, it’s equivalent is how to take off a jacket off a rack. Whoopee god damn do!

And this one revolves around the dweeby little Smith spawn. Maybe I’m hating on this because I’ll never be as ripped as he. But that is beside the point! The 3 films before were great, enjoyable and awesome.

I could not be more interested in this film than when Screech released a “tell-all” book about his Saved By The Bell days. YAWN!

Lauren Graham Returns in Parenthood

So now some of you will come to discover, I am a big TV buff.  And I’ve gotten so ecstatic over that fact that Lauren Graham will finally return to the silver screen with NBC’s “Parenthood”!  You better know her because she was phenomenal on The WB’s hit show “Gilmore Girls”.  I have so many fond memories of that show and proudly own the set on DVD.

Anyways “Parenthood”!  I’ve posted a little promo regarding the show.  The cast looks pretty great.  Of course yay for Lauren, but also Peter Krause is in it (of the now canceled “Dirty Sexy Money”) which is also a delight.  Dax Shepard, the dude is…. funny so with everyone on the cast I’m sure the show will be a hit.  NBC will hopefully hold on to this show because I need Lauren Graham back on TV! 

She is even getting sexy with a man in the promo.  Shoo, check for yourself with hilarious results!

I’m gushing I know! So, in addition, I’ll post a clip of her from Gilmore Girls. “Food should not have pronouns”. True story.

Gossip Girl Improvements Please!

Season 2 of Gossip Girl was absolutely awesome and really delivered the DRAMA!  But for season 3 maybe my expectations were set a bit too high?  But to be honest, ratings wise, it’s clear that viewers agree.

I’ve been a fan of the CW’s Gossip Girl since it premiered back in 2007.  So I have some ideas as to what could possibly make the show better! Let the fun begin!

Well, Hazel is coming back (Yay). In case you forgot in S2 Hazel is a model who told Jenny that she had hot shit.  But since she was a lively drunkard at the clubs & is a simpleton, she burned Jenny’s fugly clothing line.  Hazel has to get back more at Little J or even interfere with the rest of the crew.

Dan can get involved with Hazel..perfect gateway to Jenny.

Nate…who? Irrelevant

Vanessa, I just threw up a little typing that, should be with Dan just for a bit.  Then one day she is at a club for some function and a guy talks to her and all of the sudden he pounces on her thinking that she is rich.  Then she’ll moan and weep over what the status of the Upper East Siders and how that has gotten her attacked. And from there she’ll leave the show to go to Miami to sell her body…I mean videos…

Serena should slut around with Tripp only to discover that he has another woman in the wings. And that woman, will learn about Serena through Google search a la Gossip Girl.  From there she’ll gather enough ammo to make Serena even more notorious in the eyes of NYC! And for kicks, is Serena’s dad’s mistress.

As much as I love Chuck & Blair, they have to break up.  Yea yea it’s cute when they are together.  But seriously season 2 was awesome because it revolved around them.  This should happen by the season finale.  And from there Blair will be manic depressive only to find someone who is the polar opposite of her.  And from there maybe she’ll her next big love, or gets into an accident causing her to become innocent and coy.  Interesting no?

I’m optimistic that the show will get better. So I’ll still tune in. Anyone else in? Or what are your ideas, just for fun!

Aside from a lot of crappy hip-hop/rap songs that have plagued the charts & internet here or some notable songs to have been released this year!

10. “I See You” by Leona Lewis.

Hopefully you know where this song made its debut.  None other than the epic film of 2009…AVATAR!  James Cameron wrote is specifically for for gorgeous voice.  I’m surprised that the song isn’t a bigger hit than is should be. And this song will bring about a memorable quote for your loved ones “I see you”.

9.“Manos Al Aire” by Nelly Furtado.

Sadly she kind of fell off the radio after putting out her “Loose” album.  But OMG this song is absolutely  fantastic.  And if you aren’t a Spanish speaker FEAR NOT for I found the subtitled version for you!

8.“Did It Again” by Shakira

I was either going to go with this or She-Wolf but I decided everyone had already seen that hot vid many times already. So the reason I chose this video is because musically its different from what Shakira had recorded before, plus the visuals between her sexiness and the man she is with just makes the screen get all hot and bothered. Woot!

7.“Please Don’t Leave Me” by P!nk

The music video is very “Misery” esque.  Who would have thought that a golf club could do THAT much damage. Ouch! -_-

6. “Jai Ho” by The Pussycat Dolls and AR Rahman.

That song from Slumdog Millionaire.  Or as I lovingly call it Slumpuppy Millionare or Slumpooch Millionaire.  Great setting, plus those girls are killing it with those dance moves.  But Nicole Scherzinger has got to learn how to say Jai Ho properly. She keeps say Jay Ho! Why didn’t anyone call her out on that?!

5. “Raindrops” by Basement Jaxx.

I haven’t really gotten into them until a friend exposed me to their music this year.  And what a way to get into this artist.  The video is absolute eye candy. So much color and movement the song is simple and just perfection!

4.Although I am OVER this artist….. what list of 09’ could be complete without Beyonce’s….(err Sasha Fierce’s?) impact. I’m losing track of her egotistical caricatures.   Granted the song is catchy as hell & has now gotten so EFFIN’ annoying! It’s been in numerous places (Glee, Cougar Town, Chipmunks movie, even Barack Obama danced to it bit!) Single Ladies is undoubtedly the “Young Folks” of 2009. Without a doubt!

3. Russian Roulette by Rihanna

Scandalous year for this young lady.  But woah, with this music video! It took me awhile to get into the song but….O_O! So reason behind why it’s placed so high is how symbolic it is. Could be a reflection to the hectic year she had with her now EX boyfriend.  And she came out with a BANG with this visually provoking video where in the end she meets her demise.  But in a artistic way at the end. A performers work is never done.

2. “Do You Want To Date My Avatar” by The Guild

Yeap even though it may not have been on MTV or VH1, there is no denying that this internet music video brings serious LOLs to people in the know with what their presence on the internet.  Seriously this video is hilarious and awesome. Perfect combo, no?

Bad Romance, without a doubt one of the best music videos to be released in the 00’s!  So much symbolism that alludes to how “The Fame” is a “Monster”  She is offering window for us to see how she had gotten in with the crowd and came out the victory but what will she have to do next? All I know is that I look forward for Lady Gaga to bring out more coolness to pop culture!
